About the Yoga Classes

Francesca's Yoga teaches a calming, flowing, classical style of Yoga that incorporates Asana (poses) Pranayama (breathing techniques) and mindfulness (stilling a busy mind).

Class sizes are strictly limited to ensure each student receives individual attention and modifications, if needed.

 

All classes are held in Newcastle NSW and are suitable for beginners to advanced Yogis.

Incorporated into each session is meditation to round out the rejuvenating effects of the physical practice.

Great for blokes who have been putting off trying yoga!

 

About the Retreats

Back to Nature Retreats are a great escape from the world, they provide time to reconnect with nature, create some mental space for quiet and are a great opportunity to make new friends.

 

Each retreat is different depending on the location and the time of year. They incorporate different combinations of Yoga – Hatha, Flow, Restorative, Yin and Meditation, hiking or swimming, and an on-site chef preparing delicious, healthy vegetarian meals and snacks.

Get ready for the ultimate self-care weekend.

 

About Francesca

Francesca has been practising Yoga since she was 7 years old!

“Mum was into Yoga in the 70’s. She would come home from Yoga and have my sisters and I doing lion pose, downward dog and shoulder stands in the lounge room!”

At 18 years old Francesca decided to study Yoga teaching in Brisbane, but an accident resulting in a knee injury put this dream on hold.

Francesca became a school teacher and enjoyed classroom teaching, Sport and Recreation Camps, National Parks and later Environmental Education.

At 50 years of age a Vision Board exercise resulted in her deciding to finally study Yoga Teaching. 

 

Fortunately the 12 month Diploma of Yoga Teaching was being offered in Newcastle and Francesca enjoyed bringing her teaching skills and love of Yoga together.
